Australian STEM Competitions/Challenges

Science Engineering Challenge
The Science Engineering Challenge is a nationwide STEM outreach program presented by the University of Newcastle in partnership with communities, Rotary clubs, universities and sponsors.

 

International STEM Competitions/Challenges

spellman
The Spellman Clean Tech Competion focuses on the need to solve global environmental challenges through scientific methodology and innovative thinking among high school students. It is a world wide competition open to all 15 - 18 year old secondary students from any nation in the world.

Time frame:
September - topic advertised for the current competition
Registration opens: 22nd November 2018
Entries Close: 15th March 2019
Paper Due: 12th April 2019
Semi Finalists announced: 5th May 2019
Entrants are short listed to the final 20 and then short listed further to 10
Finalist Announced: 13th May 2019
Finalists: 18th July 2019 at Stony Brook University, New York, USA in July.
